Refund policy

UK domestic customers: If you order as an ordinary private consumer, you may cancel your order within fourteen days of making it and receive a full refund upon returning the goods, unused and in their original packaging. If you do wish to cancel please email admin@toplightco.com requesting a refund.

You will be responsible for the cost of returning the items safely to the Return Address we give you. Please do NOT return to our office address.

UK Trade and Corporate customers: All products ordered, in error or not required, which have been ordered by or delivered to companies or businesses will be subject to a 25% handling charge with the cost of return carriage to be incurred by the customer. For the avoidance of doubt, orders with a corporate email address given are included. No returns will be accepted after fourteen days have elapsed following delivery, for whatever reason.

Returns (UK)

Returned goods will not be accepted without a Returns Note number which can be obtained from ourselves. Please email admin@toplightco.com.

Once issued, the goods in question must be received by our distributors within 14 days otherwise the Returns Note is cancelled and NO FURTHER REFUND OR RETURN will be accepted.

All other countries: Please note there is no right of return.

A few words about Returning items. Servicing a Return is one of the worst possible outcomes for a business of any size but particularly so for small businesses like ours.

 The thing is that not only do we lose the margin we might have made from the sale (and after all that’s the only way we can keep in business), the payment service provider (Visa, Mastercard, Amex etc) keep their percentage of the original sale too.

 But worse than this is the charge that our suppliers charge us to accept the return. This is typically 25% so on a £500 sale we physically have to pay them £125.

 So instead of making anything, we end up paying to make the sale!

 Marketplace giants like Amazon have made the buying public think that returning items is victimless but they’re not the ones paying and that’s before one considers the environmental impact of many extra courier journeys.

 So please do make sure that the items you are buying are in fact right for you.
